History of Dera Sacha Sauda Sirsa

Dera Sacha Sauda was established by Khema Mal Ji (Shah Mastana ji Balochistani) in April 1949. The Dera is situated in Sirsa, Haryana in North India. Currently it is headed by Sant Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh who is the third Guru of this organisation.

Under the current leadership the Dera has been engaged in doing a wide variety of social actvities such as cleanliness campaigns, organising blood donation camps etc. But the dera has also been involved in a lot of controversies. Sant Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh has been has been accused of heinous crimes like murder, rape, sexual exploitation and forced castration and various chargesheets have been filed against him.

Shah Mastana Ji

Shri Khema Mal ji commonly addressed as Balochistani Shah Mastana was the founder of Dera Sacha Sauda in Sirsa, Haryana. He was a disciple of Baba Sawan Singh Ji of the Radha Soami Beas lineage. He established the dera in Sirsa in April 1949 and after died 11 years later in 1960.

Shah Satnam Singh Ji

Shah Satnam Singh Ji was the second guru of Dera Sacha Sauda lineage. He succeeded Shah Mastani Ji after his death in 1960. Shah Satnam Singh ji remained the head of Dera Sacha Sauda until 1990 and passed away in December 1991.

Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh

Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh is the current head and guru of Dera Sacha Sauda. He succeeded Shah Satnam Singh ji in 1990. He has been the most controversial of the Dera Sacha Sauda gurus who has promoted social activites but also has serious allegations and cases against him.
