Dera Sacha Sauda was established by Khema Mal Ji (Shah Mastana ji Balochistani) in April 1949. The Dera is situated in Sirsa, Haryana in North India.

Currently it is headed by Sant Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh who is the third Guru of this organisation.
Under the current leadership the Dera has been engaged in doing a wide variety of social actvities such as cleanliness campaigns, organising blood donation camps etc. But the dera has also been involved in a lot of controversies. Sant Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh has been has been accused of heinous crimes like murder, rape, sexual exploitation and forced castration and various chargesheets have been filed against him.
